Beautiful indoors with nice soft lighting. it's like a drive through for fast udon! food came out super quick and they have good variety on their menu. their egg rolls were amazing!

Their menu is primarily Japanese but there's also items that were from all over different parts of Asia. Not necessarily a bad thing - just left me confused. I wasn't sure what to expect. Glad I gave it a try. Ordered a tonkotsu udon and a spicy beef udon. The tonkotsu broth was pretty good, and the noodles seemed to be house made. The spicy beef wasn't what I expected - had more of a SE Asia flare to it. Overall, it hits the spot when craving some noodle soup in Santa Rosa.

Noodles were good. Broth had flavor and the spice level was very mind. Served fast, no wait time.

Loved my meal at this casual udon and ramen shop in Santa Rosa. My party of 4 came by Sunday morning right before noon and it was pretty packed. We snagged the last open table. It's a busy place with not a ton of seating. It's the kind of place where you get your food, eat, and go. The way it works is: you order at the counter first after perusing the menu. Then you pay and find a table. If you get a noodle dish, they'll probably just prep it for you real quick and hand it to you. If you order an appetizer or entree that needs to be prepped in the kitchen, you'll get a number and they'll bring it out to you. After you finish eating, you can return the trays and dirty dishes to their drop off window. The menu has a lot of various udon/ramen options as well as donburi and fried rice. There are lots of appetizers and sides you can get too, such as dumplings. I went with the #2 tonkotsu udon ($15.99), since I figure you can't go wrong with this. I've never had the combination of tonkotsu broth with udon noodles before, but I really liked it. The broth was flavorful, the chashu (my favorite part!) was tender and flavorful, and the udon noodles the perfect consistency. It's a big portion too; I was super full by the end. Two friends ordered various noodle soups and one friend tried their teriyaki chicken donburi. Everyone liked their food, so overall I think the food here is solid. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a noodle spot in Santa Rosa!

Ippinn seems to serve Japanese udon and other dishes with inspirations from other cuisines (at least their curry). Upon walking in, it was a little confusing to understand how to order. They told us to order at the front of their store and to pay at the register afterwards, but I noticed others ordering and paying at the register. Seating area is a little limited and seemed to be full when I arrived. However, they helped find my party of 2 a spot. Additionally food came out quick!! Their curry udon had more of a Thai curry broth with some fried tofu and chewy udon noodles. It was delicious! And decently priced. Ippinn is a little casual and quick spot to get your udon fix!

Yummy!! It is absolutely delicious and the staff is very attentive, busy but attentive. I wish there were wipes for the tables but the food & utensils looked clean! I wish they had a spice warning on some of the dishes. It was our first time visiting but it won't be our last!

Don't let the strip mall location fool you, this is high quality food at a very reasonable price. The #17 and #20 were both delicious. I prefer noodles, and these were so fresh and homemade. The fresh veggies in mixed in with the house mix of chicken, shrimp and beef were amazing. If you like a little kick of spice, add a bit of house made hot sauce (at the end of the bar by cashier). It's also a nice place to dine in and just having a relaxing meal. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Tuesday afternoon lunch. I was pleasantly overwhelmed with all the options beyond oodles of noodles. The menu with photos was uber helpful. We decided on the Tonkatsu Udon, Pork Yakiudon with extra Chashu Grab a tray, place your order, pay and wait patiently for your food to arrive. Self serve water, utensils, napkins and condiments. Skipped the tempura this visit because we were on a time crunch. Food arrived within 10 minutes. Yakiudon was definitely enough for two meals. Come with Miso soup and pickled carrots and daikon. Chili sauce was vibrantly delicious. Tonkatsu Udon broth was on point, rich umami and slurpilicious. Generous portions of pork. I wish it came with bamboo shoots and the egg was more jammy. Price point was fair for quantity of food. The restaurant is a long narrow with roughly 20 seats. Decorations reminded of a Yakitori/Sake Bar with Japanese art. Will be back to try other other udon soups and the Donburi!
